We ask God to heal our sick friends and help them straighten out their marriages. But I suggest we need to Pray a Little Deeper Now. Have you made intercessory prayer a central part of your life?

Thank you for the article LeeAnn. It is so true. I think that we must pray for those we love but those we don't necessarily feel affection for. Prayer brings the love for others. It binds believers together.

A very good point, Lynne. Praying for people you don't get along well with, or who treat you poorly, will help you to love them with Jesus' love. I'm learning to pause when I start to grumble about someone, and pray for them instead. I wish I could say I always do that, but of course I fail many times.

Jim if you pray to the God the Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord, for a sound mind, He shall surely grant it, as it is in His will. I was brought through a very bad 'mental' state a number of years ago, only by the help of God, it was a very dark time indeed, but praise the Lord, only through prayer, I came out the other side of it, into His light. Try asking for a sound mind Jim from Him.

I make it my daily habit to pray for my family, friends, our country and other nation. Prayer gives me a sense of calmness and its my conversation time with God, he like a my father and best friend.

Yes, I do. Even people whom I pass by on the street. They just inspire me.
