Dear Jeanne, I am doing an African cross stitch for my sister of two women dancing and I'd like to add either ...

When the music changes so does the dance. ~Nigerian proverb

or

Dance in the sun, but turn your back to the clouds. ~Zimbabwean Proverb

but written in either Nigerian or Zimbabwean. Would you know where I can get these translated?

Thank you for your help,

Sandi

So the first proverb could be translated into Yoruba, Igbo or another Nigerian language. The second proverb could be translated into Shona, Ndebele, Tonga, Nambya, Kalanga, Sotho, etc.

Sandi has said she will send me a picture of the cross stitch when she finished which I will gladly post here for all to see.
