While most people joke about it, bad breath can be a serious and difficult situation. Not only do people tend to back off once you start talking, it can also create chaos in your business and personal relationships.

Sometimes it's difficult to tell to a person that there's something not really nice when he or she talks. So what I do is offer a chewing gum or candy. :)

I agree with Jada but that doesn't always work. I deal with someone who had breath that will knock you over! (It can actually be nauseating...)

I do think he is aware of it because he does eat mints, etc. but they don't seem to be helping!

Must be embarrasing for him if he knows about it and is trying to cover it up with mints etc. Maybe he should get some help from the doctor!

Drinking water also helps...people should keep drinking water frequently to avoid bad breath. I suggested this to a person and it helps.
