Forums are such a delicate thing. You never know exactly why some people frequent an area.

Sometimes, they just pop in a word or two or sentences that really have little, but just enough to justify why they are posting.

Experience, does have a positive. An ability to know the difference and DO something about what's going on.

That is true to a point, Elleise. That is why I posted a follow-up to my first two posts. Since we have not heard back from Sleeplessss, I wanted to send her good thoughts and a prayer.

I do hope she comes back to see that we are trying to help her. There are some very good thoughts and suggestions for her in this thread.

Hi Speechlessss, I hope you return, I just joined in the forum and I read your letter. Please, Please take this serious, it is not to be ignored when a man, abuses you, you will not have a chance to protect yourself (or your son) if you don't stop it now, I learned my lesson with my aggressor,there is NEVER a good time to report it, you can make peace with yourself that there was a wrong decision to stay with him. all victims actually go through the stage of " I wonder if he will change, he said he would, " don't believe words, trust that his actions speak much louder than his words, I wish i was there face to face to tell you , that you just have to be strong, and you can find happiness one day, with someone who loves you FOR REAL.

I'm new here and I would like to meet some people who have been through Domestic violence, so that I don't feel alone.
