I am hoping this finds all my readers safe. Makes me wonder how our ancestors predicted severe weather. I have heard they watched how their animals reacted and the smell of the air.

Be safe today. I am in the Memphis area and we have tornado and flooding today. I would rather be researching than watching the weather news.

I am doing good. I am at Samford Univ in Birmingham, AL at a weekly genealogy retreat. I have classes from 8:30-4 everyday. It is great mingling with other people that share my passion with genealogy. Wish I could bring all my Bellaonline researchers with me.

I really have learned alot. I am taking Military to 1812. I will be writing about what I have learned soon.

Hope you are doing well.

Tina
