i once had a discussion with a doctor about pain management, he was a bit strange in his views and told me it was all in the mind? maybe it is but that doesnt mean to say we dont feel it and dont have problems with it. i quickly vanished with him still rambling on with his theory. when i visited the hospital to see a friend of mine who is a consultant anaesthetist he laughed when i told him what this doctor had said, joking he said if you ever see him again hit him on the head with a hammer and when he wakes up say its all in the mind lol. pain is awful and some of us get it worse than others, as there is no permanent cure for pain i think we tend to accept it as normal in our daily lives? there are numerous herbs available on the market, along with using hot water bottles and ice. i have pain every day but manage to still keep a smile on my face about it, maybe one day i might be pain free who knows.
