Prince William and Kate Middleton have just got married - their new titles are now Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Queen apparently said 'It is amazing' and it was just that wasn't it Asha.

It was televised live all over Europe, and watched during office hours in places it seems. The European media have been covering it for weeks, and today one German newspaper at least suggested Union Jack waving, as well as drinking tea instead of coffee, in celebration.

And that Alexander McQueen wedding gown was absolutely perfect for her, the tiara and hair so natural.

In Germany, and France, 'Maigloecken'(May Bells), Lilly of the Valley, are a symbol of Good Luck, and she had those in her wedding posy and they were also being worn as 'button holes', wonder if that is the reason.

The beginning of a new era for the Royal family.

Francine you are right, in the Queen's words it was amazing.

I did not know aout Lilly of the Valley - how lovely that it was included in her bouquet and in button holes.

What do you think is next for this royal couple? They have expressed a wish for a life more ordinary - William with his Search and Rescue job and returning to the home they rent in Anglesey - but is this possible, or do you think their lives are forever changed?

Think their lives will change a bit Asha, but not too dramatically for a while. As you say William is working full time at the moment in 'Search and Rescue' so, unlike Princess Diana, whose husband did not have a �job� as such but was the heir to the throne, there will not be the possibility, or necessity, for all the public appearances etc. to take place as they did way back then.

They have lived together for a long while one way or another, and now in Anglesey they have the same chance as the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh did after their marriage. They were stationed in Malta, so also away from it all, for some time, because he also �had a real job�, and look at how strong their marriage has remained. It was lovely to see the two of them and how they supported each other at the wedding.

Now William and Kate will also have some �space� � at least for a few more years.
