I'm very new here but was looking for tips on how to improve writing of reviews. Any references to articles would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I suggest reading the reviews that the BellaOnline editors write. Go to a subject that interests you. Read reviews. Which did you like? Why did you like them?

One of the best ways to become a good writer is to read well-written articles. Then, write a short review of 400-500 words. Choose something that interests you to review. Ask a friend to give feedback on what you have written. Then, use the comments to rewrite the parts that needed work. Get more feedback, and change what needs to be changed. Do this until your article is just the way that you want it to be.

Writing is rewriting and rewriting, and rewriting until what you have written satisfies you. It takes time, work, and the ability to criticize your work, in order to improve your writing. There is no magic formula for a well-written review...only hard work.

Welcome! Glad you are here : - )

For the best reviews I have found that writing in an honest and balanced way produces the best results. And helps the most people.

By presenting both the good points of the product and areas that could use some improvement you help the readers to discern between the mostly hype reviews all over the web. And your review that brings them real helpful information.

You also help the companies making the products to see areas for improvement.

I like to put myself in my readers spot. And imagine I was just looking for the product for the first time. What are the questions I'd like answered.

If you have more questions, please let me know!

Have a marvelous day,

Bluedolphin
