I was at my boyfriend's gig when I posted that. I go to every gig and starve to death because they only have junk food. Luckily after I posted that he had a break and said the restaurant across the street was still open, so I ran over and got some eggplant parm to go. No pasta, just eggplant. It was very healthy and tasty and things worked out.
I felt uncomfortable bringing food into a bar but at that point their "kitchen" (if you call it a kitchen) had closed so really it was no-food-at-all. So if they are going to shut down all food options I feel less wrong about bringing in something to eat.
But yes definitely they should offer GOOD food options if they have a captive audience!!
If *I* had a bar, I would offer that. But clearly I already have a multi-thousand-email-message-backlog to deal with so bringing another project into my life right now is not meant to be
