Greek yogurt gets tons of attention for being high in protein with a thick, creamy texture. I decided to give the Athenos Greek Nonfat Yogurt - in peach flavor - a try to see what it was all about.

I do not tend to like tangy yogurt either. That said, because I hate that surprise, I've taken to mixing yogurts w/frozen fruit in my vita-mix, for a wonderful frozen yogurt. Thanks for the review on Athenos Greek. I'll try it. I'm thinking this might give my frozen treat a creamier texture.

I love the plain greek yogurt with a bit of honey and nuts. I also love kefir and mix that with rice or quinoa. I try to rotate between those two and regular organic yogurt so I'm getting all types of good bacteria. I never buy any type of yogurt or kefir with fruit in it or anything with artificial anything in it. I just add organic fruit or honey that is not processed. Tastes better and way healthier for you.

I will have to give the honey idea a try and see if that helps mellow out the tang for me! I am also going to try in general to learning to teach my tongue to not mind the tang. I've learned to like carrots - I think I can try this too.
