Hi all!

My next article is live now. It is about some urban legends associated with the great and powerful Oz.

You have probably heard them all and I am sure I didn't cover every legend regarding the movie but it is always fun to read them again and maybe one or two of you have not heard some of the urban legends that I have listed.

If there are any that I didn't list or if there is something regarding the movie you want me to look up, just list it here and as always, I welcome your comments, ideas and suggestions.
The Wizard of Oz Urban Legends

I don't believe I put in the article about Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album syncing up with the movie because there are differences of opinion on it. I have never personally tried it so I can't really comment on it.

Years back, one of the Turner Broadcasting cable channels aired back-to-back-to-back 'Wizard of Oz'. They just so happened to have the late night showing synch'ed up with 'DSotM' I had heard of the connection & decided to watch.... OMG, having since many weekend nights in the 70's listening to Pink Floyd & then hearing the album as the 'WoO' soundtrack. Totally amazing to continuously have scenes that have a direct relation to the lyrics or sound effects. This even occurs after flipping the vinyl over or starting over. I recall the full album went through 3 times for the movie, yet it blended in with the action at the time.

Sorry. That showing was more than 5 minutes ago - I forgot. But I'm sure they were dancing the same steps as the original production.

I've always wanted to try it and see for myself the hoopla and will someday. I understand that there's one part when the lyric "the lunatic is on the grass" plays, it is at the scene where the scarecrow dances on the grass.
