Hi Asha, there are so many stories about what Scottish men wear under their kilts.

* Do you know what the truth is?
* Why is it such a carefully guarded secret?
* Do you have to marry a Scot before they tell you??

Joy, here is picture cool that might answer your question:
What's Under the Kilt?

Just scroll down to the picture of the three men.

I married a Scot (actually, he's half Scot, half German) and he told me that Scottish men really wear nothing.

My husband said there isn't a kilt long enough for him to wear and be considered decently dressed. LOL. I let him live with his delusions. wink

About 13 years ago my then-boyfriend and I were invited to a wedding in Edinburgh - he was the best man and the wedding party wore kilts. They definitely wore nothing under them and it made the dancing part of the evening quite a trip!!!

Wow Phyllis, I didnt know there was so much info available on kilts! And on that site the kilts for babies are so sweet.

Also, I love the way the site gives advice like use the weight of your sporran to ensure that the apron of your kilt is always between your legs, when sitting with your knees apart. (JOY)

Hi Lori, that's a funny story. By the way, I gather from that site that one can also buy kilts for women. Have you got one? (JOY)

Hi Lisa, I think its lovely that such traditions are still going strong ... and allowed to, especially in these days of political correctness. (JOY)

Hi Alicia, I think Phyllis' site above would be a good place to start! (JOY)
