As a seller how do you deal with an unhappy customer?

I have dealt with many unhappy customers but not as a seller but as a front desk executive. The way best way is to keep your self calm and polite as much as possible, and listen to their problems. Some of them may even shout but if you remain calm they also become cool and calm after a span of time.

I have done the same thing, and agree it works 95% if the time.

Usually, In person, I will nod my head and agree with them. Then I tell them how grateful I am of them and how well they have presented their case and with such a presentation they are definitely a priority to be heard ,that its a no-brainier and there is nothing to worry about. Then I ask them what they would like me to do for them. I then place my body language side by side with theirs and we both go through the facts. I always mention their names and tell them > I can understand how you FEEL (especially the female clients) so and so FELT the same way until they FOUND out bla bla bla.. and online, I do the same thing but while stating more and more facts -
