This week's article is about Lithops, or Living Stones. Has anyone had experience growing these? They are so cool to look at - I used my favorite photo of them for the article, but I think I have ten more. smile

Check it out, if you haven't already:

Ooooh! I've always loved the look of these, but never kept them. (So many plants; so little time, space, dirt...)
Didn't know they bloomed! Adorable. Next time I see them, I'll try some. They will be a nice addition to my "fairy gardens."

The seeds are cheap and you can grow them in tiny pots...take up no space at all! wink

Lisa Beth, I'd love to learn more about them!

Mary, do you have pictures of your "fairy gardens". I see you're in New Jersey, are your fairy gardens inside or out?

What a great article! Your writing makes this tiny humble plant sound so interesting that I'll have to grow some of these. My husband loves succulents.

Those look really cool. I'll take a look for them the next time I'm in a plant store.
