The article just posted is more of an introduction to spam. There is so much to understand and know about spam.

Avoiding Spam

In the world of technology today we have to be aware of identity theft. Protecting ourselves on online and also those we deal with or do business with.

It is the integrity of your ezines and newsletters that you want to protect. And learning how to avoid spam is a good place to start.

What kind of experience do you have with spam? Have you ever been spammed before or know someone who has? What kind of damages that you know of spam can cause, to a person or to a business?

Being spammed can be avoided but you have to be so vigilant online...for example, never clicking on the links in spam emails or downloading anything. Most laptops have unsafe site warning protection now. My freelance internet writing site is going well and I haven't had any serious experiences of spam.

Yes, as technology changes so does the hackers. It is becoming necessary to have spam filters for the spam filters already in place.

If you have been spammed how hard or difficult was it to repair the damage done or caused by spam?

Yes, who hasn't been spammed?

Do you have any first hand expereinces with spam? How did you handle it and what were the consequences of being spammed for you?
