Hey Maria:

I know the university I am temping at canceled something they had planned for MLK today because of the weather we have been having. Nope - no snow, just cold and lots of rain.

Any cancellations on your end so far for any pre MLK programs?

I just noticed you are from Georgia. Great! My boyfriend works in Columbus, Georgia although he lives in Phenix City, Alabama. I am heading up there in 2 weeks - hoping to find a source of income. If not, I will have to travel out of the state again for whatever I can locate. I am presently in Orlando, Florida since July.

Thank you,
Angela

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday will be celebrated nationally on tomorrow, January 17. Don't miss out on a chance to participate in some of these free activities!

I am finding that alot of places are not closed tomorrow and also that parades took place yesterday (Saturday).

Interesting!

But I am sure there is alot going on tomorrow, which is the real date.
