Okay, you successful daters - any advice to pass our way (lol).

MINE: Enjoy EACH day as it comes. At the age of 52, I met my "soulmate" 2 years ago and at age 56 he is all that I had hoped for. No one is perfect, but do not ever "settle"......

Now your turn.....

Keep communication open.....talk, talk, talk about anything and everything, especially any issues that come up between you. Settling differences while they are small and don't have the time to fester can bring you closer together because you have a better understanding of each other.

Accept a person for who they are or move on. You can't change someone to suit you, and nobody is perfect.

Both people in the relationship deserve respect. It leads to the development of trust for a lasting relationship.

Hi Cassie67:

Thank you for taking the time to share.

You are so right about accepting someone - I had to LEARN that at my age of 52 (lol).

Wasted too many years trying to change them smile
