Hi All; I've been trying to grow my hair out for a really long time, but it just wont seem to go past my shoulders. It's at a very annoying length right now because only the ends are kind of wavy so I have to straighten it, but I don't want to cut it because I really just want to grow it out. I cut it a couple years ago (it was about half way down my back) and now I really wish I hadn't. Does anyone know of any products that can maybe help? (BTW, I'm a diver so I'm in the chlorine a lot, which I think is why my hair doesn't grow as fast as other people's) Regards

Yes, chlorine is hell on your hair. As a former swimmer/diver myself, until I stopped swimming all the time, my hair was in hair hell.

Try using a conditioner in your hair before you swim every day. This will help fill the holes in the outer shaft (cuticle) so that the chlorine laden water doesn't penetrate as well.

Additionally a hair oil might help.

What is your daily hair care regiment?

I get mine trimmed every 4 months or so and I take a vitamin for hair/skin/nails that you can find at health food stores.

Yeah there are many products available in the market which will helpful for your hairs in making them straight i hope it will help you a lot. I too don't like to cut my hairs so i go for hair straitening which makes your hair look attractive.

it depends how your hair are, if they are silky and strieght then long hairs are good, otherwise short hairs are good. health insurance quotes for individuals
