We are having such a good time on the History Word Association game. Coming up with some really obscure and funny things. To keep those brain juices flowing I'm putting out an Historical Acrostic for us to have fun with. Here is how it works: I'll give you the foundation for the acrostic. You need to provide a word or small phrase that relates to the foundation word and begins with a foundation letter that is available. Here is an example: Henry VIII Inquisition Spanish Armada Troy Oregon Trail Red October Y - this letter is open so you would fill it in. If this does not make sense let me know. Here is the current Acrostic: A G A M E M N O N Enjoy!

I re-read your directions & it seems like you are asking that letter have a new entry. Thus building the acrostic vertically. I originally thought you were looking for the various results & I added in phrases that were associated with the acrostic base... oops?
Atreus of Mycenae (father) Greece Achaean Commander at Troy George Shipway, authored Warrior in Bronzenovel about Agagmemnon Mycenae Throne Electra (daughter) Murdered by wife, Clytemnestra, &/or her lover, Aegisthus Noble King & Warrior Odyssey accounts for his murder upon returning from Troy Not on friendly terms with Achilles

Correct.
Now, we need someone to fill in the A or another letter.

Second time for wife & I; I could've gone elsewhere, but was traveling with good friends who wanted to see the Sun King's abode. Too richly adorned & arrogant by my meager standards.

Whoops. A few postings ago, in copying the acrostic, somehow I lost the 'I' in Versailles. I've put it back in and supplied a word for it.

Hey we could 'take it up a notch' & 'BAM' have a lot more fun... More than what appears to be a generic history lesson
