I am enjoying the new season. They really have rounded out Mary to make her a much more real character. It always seems that characters are one dimensional in the first season and only get bulked out when they get into season 2

I definitely agree, Mary's character has become so much more complex even in these two episodes... she was hilarious with the psychiatrist last episode and i loved her evaluation of mary at the end...I think the office manager is an interesting addition too, i was pretty shocked when she told Mary off last episode, i thought Mary might slap her...

My husband and I love this show. I agree that it's become even better this season and the dialogue seems sharper. I think they could do more with the Marshall character too and his interactions with Mary.

The office manager definitely has some hidden talents there. Will be interesting.

I really loved Mary's mother's moment of truth, seeing herself on the drunk driving video.

Totally agree about Marshall, he adds so much to the show.. I'm hoping for a Marshal/Mary kiss at the end up this season but we shall see..

I thought I'd revive this thread because the show is starting back up again. I enjoy the characters but I think sometimes the plot is "forced". Like when Mary's mother harassed her, that seemed very unnatural. They didn't set it up well enough.

That being said, some of the dialogue is just laugh out loud funny

I agree, we love that show! Mary is really funny.

It looked like her sister is pregnant in real life. She had a pillow in front of her most of the show and she looked a little puffy in the face.

I LOVE this show - and can't wait for season three to start up!
