Is Being Human over? When will the next season start? My daughter got me hooked on this show. The whole premise sounded so darned silly (a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost?) but the characters are so real and their struggle with what it means to be human is compelling. It makes you think deeply about humanity and supernatural possibilities. Good versus evil.

Thanks for your comment. Actually I have never seen Being Human but a good friend of mine really loves it. I believe the BBC will be making another series. It is written by Toby Whithouse and I am going to a talk he is giving at the Society of Authors next week so I hope to hear more about the series then.

I enjoy Being Human too and I think the UK has stayed ahead of the US in scheduling. Part of my interest has been that it was filmed in Bristol where I grew up (like Casualty, another British TV series) so it's fun to watch and spot places I know. I had heard they were moving filming to Cardiff for both series - not sure if this is truth or rumour...
