If you haven't heard of this movie, where have you been? This shocking film is causing currents in the horror genre. 'The Human Centipede is one of the most talked about horror movies of current, it's sick, it's twisted, and I watched it. What is a human centipede? Read this to find out, oh, and bring your sick bucket...

Hi Steven,
I shot over here today to ask you what was up in the horror films world. There is absolutely nothing new coming out over here. This human centipede movie sounds positively gross!!!

I was on my way to work the other day and a old dawn of the dead movie was on. I usually hate to watch movies on tv before I go to work because I have to be there at 7:45 and of course the movie NEVER goes off until 8:00. The last thing I saw was the guy had fallen out of the truck and the guy and girl had to go beack and get him. It was either a dawn of the dead or a zombie movie. Now I've got to find it so I can watch the last 20 minutes...lol...

So anyway, great review - you had me cringing and gagging just reading it...lol...

Yeah, I know Dianne frown it seems like everything is a re-make these days in horror. 'The Human Centipede' to its credit was at least original, it's just a shame it was so badly made - and sick LOL.
The only alternative to re-makes seems to be "Gorno" horror, or "Torture" horror, movies like 'Saw' and 'Hostel' - hopefully things will go back to when they used to let the hero win over evil in the end - otherwise it's defeating the purpose of a horror movie really.

I can't believe they put horror movies on that early LOL! Were they in a shopping mall for most of the film? Or living in a tower block keeping zombies out? Filming with camera corders? You'll have to give me more details - there are so many zombie movies out there smile

Thanks BTW - I tried to sum up the film as best as possible considering what I could actually say - I wanted to say more but it would've been too many spoilers. I can't believe they're making a second Centipede movie LOL.

There's a movie being advertised over here which looks quite scary - it's called 'Devil' and it's about a group being trapped in a lift with a demon or something. I'm really scared of lifts (elevators) so that creeped me out...

They were in a small town and they were trying to get to the gasoline. They had bordered themselves up in a house owned by this young guy and his wife. The one (business looking) guy wanted everyone to go downstairs and board themselves up, but this other guy disagreed because he said they would get stuck. So the guy went downstairs and locked the door. He was down there with his wife and sick daughter. The folks upstairs were using pieces of wood to nail against the windows and doors, but they needed to go into the basement to get more wood, but the guy downstairs with his family did not want to open the door....fast forward...fast forward... the young wife insisted that she could drive the truck so they could get gasoline....fast forward...the husband and the guy got on the back of the truck....this is where I had to go in another room to comb my hair for work...lol...came back in and the guy had fallen off the back of the truck.

There was another woman in the movie who was holding a shot gun and said the zombie people (me paraphrasing...lol..) were moving so slow that the people in the house could run right past time.

This might help... The guy (he was black) that insisted they stay upstairs and board up the windows and doors was the same creepy guy that played the coroner in Final Destination that and shoved the corpse in the furnace. I think he played a creepy guy in the movie "I Still know what you Did last summer" can't remember.

Now if you can guess the movie from my description, I'm absolutely going to crown you KING of the Movie World... king
I might have seen the trailer for the Devil, the name sounds familiar, but I've only seen it once.

Yeah, I know - it's the re-make of the original zombie movie "Night of the Living Dead" LOL - and Tony Todd plays the black guy - he played Candyman and yeah, he was in "Final Destination", but not "I know what you did last Summer" LOL.
It's quite a good movie, it's really similar to the original film- just in colour. It's basically the first zombie movie ever though - so it's a good place to start zombie knowledge LOL.

I bow to the KING!!! king
Guess what! After I read your post, I was looking through the ondemand free movies and it's there. Now I can go watch the whole thing at my own pace...how cool is that?

Really? He wasn't in the any of the "I know what" you did movies? Not even the one with Brandy? I'm wondering where else I saw him.

Yeah, Surnim - I thought the movie was okay - I just thought they could've done a lot more with it.

Dianne - you should watch it smile I'm glad you found the movie.

No, Tony Todd was only in the Candyman & Final Destination movies, well obviously other things, but no - he wasn't in "I know what you did last Summer" or "I Still know" - Mekhi Phifer & Brandy were the only African Americans except for a few of the hotel staff. There was a third "I know what you did" called something really silly like "I'll always know what you did last summer" - but he wasn't in that either LOL.

Have you seen Candyman? That's a fantastic horror movie - it's one of my fave's and it's more psychological horror - it's very smart and was years before its time with post-modern horror. Plus Virginia Madsen's performance is outstanding as Helen smile
