A lot of the quotes I discuss are things that people have said but it's easy to forget that the lyrics in songs are also of great importance, but sometimes it is overshadowed by the music. What lyrics to people find special to them?

You know what song lyrics really speak to my heart? You Are Not Alone by Michael Jackson. It makes me cry every time I hear it.

Another Michael Jackson song with lyrics that touch my soul:

"You and I must make a pact,
We must bring salvation back...
Where there is love,
I'll be there..."

Don't know why but I have this feeling that I made a pact with people to help humanity save itself.

And then, there are sooo many lyrics that seem to sum up my relationship with my husband. "We belong" by Pat Benatar.

"Whatever we deny or embrace for worse or for better,
We belong, we belong, we belong together."

Thank you for sharing. I am a very big fan of the music from Michael Jackson and I think his songs will forever be in history but due to him being renowned for entertaining and his dance moves I do believe that his actual lyrics are overshadowed and I haven't properly read his lyrics to conjure a meaning before.
