We should spend no more time, money or energy on anything to do with oil, gas or coal. Our resources need to be turned to securing our future and the only way to do so is with alternate energy sources. Even if you don't care about the environment we only have about 30 years of oil left in the world - this comes from an interview I saw with the Saudi King about 8 years ago. If you have children or grandchildren this is something that you should be greatly concerned about.

If you do care at all about the environment then we should present our world with no more challenges in that regard.

I think we should use the wind, sea and sunshine. They are all free, all we need is the technology to harness these natural resources.

It annoys me when people object to wind farms because it would spoil the scenery! Surely with the problems we have with oil spills and the mess mining makes of the world, a few beautiful wind turbines are not going to spoil anything!

The oil will run out eventually, but the wind, sun and surf will always be here.

Given the growing rate of climate change, we need to drastically change how we pollute our environment. Or soon humans will simply be another phase in our planet's change, and left behind like the dinosaurs as a fossil record.
