It's no secret that many people have stayed in their current jobs because of the economy and that given the chance - they would have left the company a long time ago.

It is expected that the job situation will start to run around some time near the end of this year or the beginning of 2011. Let's say for a second that's true. Do you plan to use the first sign of job recovery as a chance to jump ship or will you stay in your current job?

It will be interesting to see the results of this poll. I will be looking forward to the 30th to see what the average is of this forum. Is there any way to discover the age of members who participate in the poll? I am always curious about how job satisfaction relates to age. Through my experience younger persons experience more of a jump the ship desire than those who are more mature and have found a steady career, but this is no way relevant for everyone so please do not take offense. I still consider myself young even though I am probably not.

Unless my principles would be attacked or and I would be committing crimes I would not leave and I would not not accept a job when offered one.
