My rescue dog Spanky aged 6 years needs cruciate ligament surgery. He is limping and uncomfortable. The soonest that the vet can do it is April 21 which is smack dab in the mercury retrograde period. I would prefer to wait until May 14, but he is uncomfortable and it isn't getting better. Am I taking too big of a risk to have this knee surgery during MR? And, if not, how does April 21 look as far as knee surgery on a 90 lb dog look. BTW, he is the sweetest boy and the surgery has a 6 month rehab. THanks all.

Have you considered hydrotherapy? It may help keep him going as it's a non weightbearing exercise, and may be useful in aiding recovery from the surgery too.
