I am on my computer pretty much 24 hours a day. I use a wireless mouse because it (as silly as it might seem) makes a big difference, over the course of a day, to not drag a wire behind every movement of my mouse. I really do notice it by the day's end.

I've been using a Logitech G7 mouse but it's at the end of its life. It's double clicking all the time now when I mean to single click which causes no end of horrors smile Plus its laser seems to be sick.

What are you guys using? Any suggestions?

I got a Microsoft wireless mouse when I bought my new laptop. It's the first wireless mouse I've had, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I like it. I think it cost around $20,

Yep, here I found the exact one on Amazon: My wireless mouse

Mine is "bare bones", which I prefer, but you might need something with a little more oomph or options.

I agree, wireless is the way to go with a mouse, especially with a laptop. I have had no problems and it works great.

I have the Logitech v200 that I've had for about 5 years. It did need new batteries at one point but has otherwise given great service. It doesn't have a laser, I'm guessing it works by radio? It doesn't need to be within eyeshot of the computer, I just found out that it works the computer even from another room!
