I saw a Nonpareil Bunting today and took a picture of it. All kinds of new birds for my life list since I moved to the Panhandle of Florida including the Prothonotary warblers and also a Yellow Rumped warbler. Eagles are seen quite often here also.[color:#009900][/color]The Nonpareil Bunting is more commonly known as the Painted Bunting and is considered the most beautiful of American birds. Wow, you are lucky. I've never seen one, though the yellow-rumped warbler is common in NJ where I live.

When did they change the name? I've only heard it as a painted bunting?
