Name Dawn Location Ohio--born and raised Age 44 Occupation currently working at JoAnn Fabrics, but have also taught English grammar/composition and am an RN Marital Status/length married 20 years Spouse's occupation college math professor Children/grandchildren/ages only the four-legged type--a dog and 2 cats Education/skills way too many years in school! Hobbies (crafts/gardening/what you love to do) I started off w/ counted cross stitch and moved on to quilting. I also tat, knit, read, play w/ my wonderful dog (3 year old Rottie called Shilo), and most recently, scrapbooking. My biggest stash is my fabric, but papers and stickers are a close second and third. Talents (sports/music/etc.) I played soccer and softball when I was in school, but mostly only walk w/ my dog now. I also played clarinet when I was in school and would like to one day learn the piano. Do you hide your scrapbook budget from your hubby? no Do you "borrow" grocery money for scrapbook supplies? no Do your kids go without cookies because you scrapbook? no human children When did you start scrapping? 2005 when I made a book for my brother and sister-in-law about thier wedding and all of the goodies leading up to it--and of the honeymoon. I just got a Cricut and am having a blast w/ it. I love to let the pics do all of the talking--or at least as much as possible--as my handwritting is the pits. I like to have a great title and then add a minimal of journaling for most of my pages (and then it's done w/ the computer).

Hi everyone, I'm new to forums although my husband is an old hand at them. He's an rc flyer. Anyway my name is Karen and I have two boys Brandon who's 26 and Cameron who's nine. Yes, I said 26 and nine! Oh and I've been married to the same person for 27 years. Man plans and God laughs!!! I've been scrapbooking traditionally for ten years and started digially when creative memories came up with some great programs! My real job is a retinal photographer and angiographer. Yes there are times when I don't tell my husband how much I spend, but his hobby is still more expensive than mine. No I do not borrow grocery money for scrapbooking. I try not to feed my son too many cookies. As far as what got me stated, my best friend got me a creative memories "kit" as a shower gift when I was pregnant with Cam and 2 years ago I became a consultant to help support my habit! I like digial photography but I still love film. I really like having the prints in my hands.

HI! I'm Vivienne (the new papercrafting editor here).
I live in Denmark with DH and 2 girls ages 11 and 14. I am 41 (and proud of it!). We just moved here to denmark so I am taking language classes daily. I am 1/2 of the design team ViVa Artistry selling digital scrapbooking supplies at the DigiChick and also a CTM for Christina Renee Designs. I do not hide my purchases from DH...he knows and thankfully understands. Besides, his hobbies cost more.
IRL, I am a former marketing specialist working in the computer industry and also at UofMichigan Medical School.
I am a huge papercrafter and so I do both types of scrapbooking, paper and digi although more of the digi since it's faster and less messier. I am getting into hybrid papercrafting, using computers to aid in the actual crafting. I have done papercrafting and scrapbooking since my early teens (a LONG time).
You can see my blog at vivaartistry.blogspot.com
My products and layouts are at thedigichick.com
