If you have a snacking craving and not a lot of energy to make something, what do you grab as an easy snack?

I would grab Triscuit and cheese slices, but we have some snack mix in the house after our trip to Canada so I'm finishing it up. It's generally good - nuts, a few raisins - but there are some chocolate M&M type things in there. So I'll be glad when those are all gone!

I usually have an orange. The big bag of oranges we got from Costco usually lasts us for a while. They are easy and quick, and unlike bananas, oranges have a much longer shelf life.

I sometimes will munch on nuts. Lately I found a high fiber granola bar I like with chocolate chips in it. It was a generic store brand, but was surprisingly good! smile

I usually grab an apple and some peanut butter or some sunflower seeds. Trail mix is good too, but higher in calories.

I usually try to get some protein in my snacks for more energy.

I love hummus! Costco has a huge container of hummus that's organic and delicious. I usually split it with my son-in-law tho as it's hard to use it all by the expiration date.

I love hummus and usually eat it with celery. But for some reason I haven't been eating it recently. I go through cycles where I'll eat a lot of something, and then stop eating it for a while. So I think I'm in the "not eating it" part smile

That's how I used to eat them - I would sit down and eat an entire package of 8 pita bread circles along with an entire container of hummus. That wasn't good for me, although it was very tasty smile So I had to wean myself off of doing that.
