We finally got to see Avatar in 3D at an IMAX theater. It was great!

There's one particular moment where the hero - in his "alien" body - sees a cute little floating white jellyfish creature and punches it. I shrieked in outrage - and apparently nearby theater-goers turned in great amusement smile I was upset!

I saw Avatar on Christmas Day. That was my very first 3D experience!

Yes, the jellyfish scene... I can see why it was upsetting.

The scene that was upsetting to me was when I saw the "tree" getting destroyed later in the movie.

I really loved this movie because there is so much spirituality in the living of the "alien" Avatar people that aligns with my beliefs.

I also found the binding the tips of the hair braids with the animals/creatures concept quite interesting. smile

Well, at least the female Navi lets him know - quite clearly - WE DON'T DO THAT!

I love how she thinks of him as a child, and how she berates him after killing the 'dogs' about how it was unnecessary.
