Lane Kiffin leaves Tennessee, after only one year, to become the head coach at USC. Kiffin served as an Assistant Coach under Pete Carroll for several years prior to going to becoming the Head Coach of the Oakland Raiders. I was quite surprised that Kiffin was introduced so soon after Carroll resigned to coach the Seattle Seahawks. Kiffin may very well be in over his head. Recruiting will suffer because continuity has been broken. USC will likely face sanctions, including no bowl appearances, due to several incidents regarding current and past players. How do you think Kiffin will do? How long do you think he'll stay at USC? I will be shocked if he's there more than 3 years and I think USC's run as a Top 25 school is over for a while.
