All I know it is horrible finding the hermit crabs being sold at flea markets and fairs. First, people have no idea how to take care of them, nothing is ready for the hermit crabs when they get them home,no food, no filtered water. They get stuck sitting in the heat for heaven knows how many hours. Some get tossed in the car in the parking lot to die. Very few of these hermit crabs survive very long.
