Most of us have some sense of someone watching over us. Others have had encounters that were life saving or at the minimum without any other explanations than divine! Have you ever had an Angelic Intervention?

Angelic Encounters

I have a few. I will share my favorite because it was the first that I personally had that made me believe:

Driving home very very late one night I came to a railroad crossing. It was so black dark and thought that the car creep and quick check would be enough. I remember my teenage logic that if a train was coming I would see a light or something. Anyway started to go. The "Stop!" was so loud - instinctively startled I did it. As you may have guessed by now - had I gone through I would have been hit.

I had a similar experience Mumzy. I was lost up north in MI. I had left to visit my sister and a huge thick fog had rolled in. I was supposed to also visit my husband then's family. There was construction and detures and I was dylexic, so I pretty much got lost between her and them. I decided to finally pull over and sleep the night in the woods on a side road.

I heard "Turn around." I ignored it and tried to get comfortable on the window w/a jacket for a pillow. I heard it a few times more and finally decided to go ahead and turn around. I didn't know where I was going but went on anyway for about 20 minutes at least. I heard, "turn here." I closed my eyes and just turned the wheel left. I went off the major road and the car hopped up and off the edge onto some gravel and the tires caught. I hit the breaks and came upon a road with some lights. I decided I would just have to go and knock on the door and ask to call the house. It turned out to be the exact house I was suppposed to visit - just 3 hours late.

I think many people have angelic encounters and just rationalize them away rather than accept that they were given paranormal or angelic assistance. I have frequent guidance from other realms and heed it now but I used to ignore or rationalize it frequently in the past. My most memorable event was about 15 years ago and I wanted to leave my now ex- husband and I was very unsure if I could make it alone for many reasons that I won't bore you with here, but I was full of self doubt and I asked for a sign that things would be ok if I divorced him and ventured out on my own, and a very male very soothing calm voice spoke in my ear and said "everything will be just fine, go" and I swear it was like there was someone leaning over my shoulder talking into my ear and the most profound sense of calm came over and I knew in that instant that I could leave and do ok on my own. Needless to say not only am I ok but now I have a great life and a wonderful man that loves and respects me, and I am working to decipher what I can really do and what my path has in store for me, it is so exciting to explore all the talents that I stifled for so many years because I was afraid to be who I am. My angels and guides help me all the time now and I trust them explicitly.

This is an event I don't normally share. But for some reason I feel compelled to right now.

25 years ago, I was working at a little pool hall. Upon closing, I was abducted at knife point, taken to another location and attacked. During the attack, I was somehow "forced" from my brain and body. The "Angel" who took over was successful in talking my attacker out of killing me.

My mouth was moving, but I was not in control. I could hear the words, but I wasn't saying them. The attacker let me go. Some would say it was my subconscious taking over, but then, they didn't "feel" how I was pushed out of myself. I refer to this as an Angel, as my life was spared. And that's what I concentrated on, I was needed for other things, my tasks in this life were not completed. Focusing on that is what got me through the trauma of the event.

I'm not certain why it was necessary for me to post this. When I feel this type of compulsion to share, it always means someone needs to hear my words. For whomever this was meant to be shared with, you have my prayers.

Your experience reminds me so much of mine. I asked something similar and a voice didn't wisper, but it was so loud I thought it was my then ex's snoring - truly! The voice said, "ask not what you already know."

It was so physical an experience I put my ear up to my now ex's face to convince myself, I suppose, that something coming out of his person was what I was hearing. My ear still tickled from the vibration.

Back then, I too worried, we were Catholic, and I, at that point, really needed guidance as to what would be the thing that would be alright to do.
