Should You Change Your Look

The other day I heard a woman tell another that she should change her hair. �You know,� the suggester said, �update your look.�

How would you deal with a suggestion of this sort? The Ethnic Beauty community would love to hear your family-friendly answers.

I frequently change my look. To me hair is the easiest thing to change. Color, cut, style.

I think it all depends on the person. Sometimes you just need a little "refresh" and not a complete "style makeover/change".

Thanks for the article. You are right, one should not be pressured into changing his/her appearance simply due to some odd suggestions by others.

I always think the most beautiful people are the ones with so much beauty, worth and self-confidence "inside". Our appearance should reflect our inner state.

On the other hand, if the person decides it's time to express their new self through drastic change of their outer appearance, I would say "right on!" I would cheer them on as I celebrate their growth!

I happen to think you are both right. A person should only change if they want to. Then they should be applauded for having the courage to do so.

It would depend the way it was said to me. If it was said in a cruel or criticising manner that person would get it right back at them. I do not care about what you thing of me but when you personally attack me you will get it back (unless you are a troll then i will ignore you).
