I had a rather short dream with 3 different tornadoes. I was in my car, I had my yougest and middle sons with me to pick up my oldest son at school. I was in the car line waiting. As he got in the car and we were driving off...I looked up at the sky because the weather was getting bad and I noticed a tornado forming. The first tornado was odd looking it had sort of like lightening bolts around it as it was spinning. These bolts were white down their centers with two oras. The first being a light purple and then a blue....this tornado then disappeared and another tornado formed.....this tornado was normal looking but skinning...this tornado disappeared and then a large rather fat tornado appeared. I turned my car around and parked it...the told my children were going inside the main building for safety. I wanted to take my children to the basment but they wouldn't let us go and then I woke up.What is the significance of having THREE tornadoes in a dream?

Many of us are of the opinion numbers, such as the 3 tornados, are important in dreams. This could symbolize 3 events that will alter things in your surroundings or your life. The first two dissolved, but lead to the larger 3rd one. In your dream, you couldn't get shelter from the large tornado. This could mean you will not be able to avoid the event, but will need to face it head on.

On a lighter note, you have 3 boys. My sister has two and I'm sure she would agree they can be very much like tornados, especially around the house:-)

A tornado is something we need to be somewhat prepared for and most definitely pay attention to. This may be a heads up to pay a little more attention to your surroundings, as the busy and distracting Holiday season is upon us.

I'm hoping this helps a little. I've had tornado dreams on a regular basis for years. However, I think mine are different from your dream, in that they occur within a day or two, but I have never been through one myself.

If you take the tornado as a symbol, it suggests sudden unexpected changes. They stir things up, and cleanse the earth of negative energies with their force of nature. In the dream the first two tornados had white down the middle with colored lightning bolts....so it could be that unexpected events arise, but the events bring some "lightning bolts" or Ideas to your mind and the unexpected events have blessings. The 3rd storm, or unexpected event in your life may be a challenge...but all in all, change usually works out for the best. So be flexible and prepared to bend a little.

Thank you for your response...however, I need to make a correction...it's not that I didn't get shelter...we were able to stay in the main building...we just were not able to go down into the basement of the building. Oddly my family and I live in FL...basements aren't something regularly built here...but the main building of this school does have a basement. As for my boys...there's not lie there...they are tornadoes...distuctors of just about everything lol

Another correction...only the first tornado had the lightening bolts with colored oras. I must also add that in the dream I was not particularly distressed...a little worried about my house...but not worried about our safety. When I woke up I was not distressed either...just thinking of how odd it was to have such a dream.

I do not believe the dream relates to your boys being boys. The basement relates to our "subconscious" and underlying motivations and reasons for behaviors and actions. I believe the dream means you will possibly experience some unexpected events. The good news is you felt calm with no fear and no one was hurt, which would suggest the outcomes are good.
