Spanish cream is something my mother made for me all of my life. As I got older I often thought about getting the recipe from her. However, my thought was that if I had the recipe and made it for myself it would no longer be special.
I waited too long she passed away about a month ago. I was thinking the other day how much my little granddaughter would love Spanish cream.
It was a molded center with lots of whipped egg whites and a delicate cream made out of the yolks dabbed over the top. Anybody?
