OK, OK ... don't panic. Just a type <grin>. I meant, "then I will consider your "Z" animal name.

Well dang it. OK, with a little more work, I did indeed find the elusive "Yellowlegs"! This shore bird is native to Alaska and definitely part of Alaska's wildlife. Your answer is correct! :))))

Now, let me here that "Z" critter and we can get on with the celebrating! <L>

Let's give it a bit to see if anything else comes in that is a tad more "wildlife-like". You are free to find something better yourself, of course. If not ... well, we'll see. I DO want to finish this game up and get the prize sent out soon.

Btw, I just got home from our two-week long state fair and am honestly amazed I've been able to keep up with the forum as well as I have <L>. Multi-tasking at it's finest. I have spent the morning uploading fair photos from my camera and am currently resizing them to upload to the "Alaska State Fair Photos" thread here on the forum ... as soon as I have a few ready, I will announce it - I got some great shots!
