Do you feel like you'll never be good enough? You may be setting unrealistic goals for yourself by expecting perfection. Perfectionism is a poison that robs us of enjoyment and peace. Take that pressure off of yourself by learning to accept yourself-- flaws and all.

My latest article talks about the power of a daily practice such as meditation or journaling to help you learn to accept and appreciate "what is":

Perfection is a myth that poisons our sense of self-worth and satisfaction. When we practice acceptance, we can learn to appreciate the process of growth and value what we already are.

I look forward to hearing what you think about perfectionism and how you practice accepting yourself as you are.

I like to remember this quote from Lenny Kravitz: "My life is perfect, because I accept it as it is."

Take Care,
Erin
