How many times do we think we are at the end of our ropes? Today I pledge to hang on to my sobriety and the principles of the 12 steps. I want to do more than just "hang on" but as long as I do, I am safe. How about you? Are you hanging on today?

HALT, if you are unfamiliar with this acronym it means hungry, angry, lonely and tired. When I am in physical pain, I have to remember this because pain doesn't make a day look all that promising. But I pledge to take care of myself today and to remember that I am stronger than HALT! I was wishing to relax and not blame myself for all the confusion
