This is a fun game that hasn't been played on here in a while. It's easy--simply pick an ingredient that can be found in your local grocery store, and post it here.

After twenty four hours, I will create a recipe or recipes from the list of ingredients.

It'll either be a recipe delight or a recipe fright!

The first ingredient on the list is:

Garlic

Thank you for participating! Here's some of the recipe ideas based on the list of ingredients.

If you missed playing this time around, we'll have another round later this week!

The main ingredient list:

Tomatoes
Garlic
Bananas
Basil
Raisins
Peanut Butter

Recipe #1:

Peanut Butter, Banana, and Raisin Sticks

Slice the bananas into small pieces. Place a little piece of peanut butter on the each banana piece, and slide it onto a wooden skewer. Place a raisin in between each banana and peanut butter piece, and alternate them on the skewer.

A little messy (ok, a lot), but a different way to eat fruit.

Using wooden skewers is a fun way to serve lots of fruits and veggies.

Ok, Recipe #2:

This is a summer classic--Tomato and Basil, topped with sauteed Garlic

Slice the tomatoes and arrange on a plate.

Chop and saute the garlic, and sprinkle over the tomatoes.

Top with fresh basil and serve! smile

Thank you for participating!

The next round of the 24 hour ingredient challenge will be coming up later this week--stay tuned! smile
