Hi,

Are there certain times of the day when you're more creative? When you get more things done than at other times?

For me, I'm much more productive in the morning.

I'm WAY more PRODUCTIVE when I first wake up - that usually leads to more creativity. I'm more creative when my to-do list is taken care of. But I play gigs that run into the early hours of the morning, and I often find that I'm so amped up after a gig that I'm in a very creative state of mind at 3 or 4am. The creative juices are still flowing from the gig, so I just run with it if I have the energy.

Creative and deeply mystical and spiritual, eternal: middle of the night.

Creative in a way that will make the world better (and my life story better) all other times.

I find that I'm more productive when I don't have a lot of stressful things to worry about. When they're done.. which sometimes is in the middle of the night.. hmm..

Im more productive and have more energy in the mornings than evenings. After working a 40 hour job and come home, Im too tired to think. So mornings, I enjoy working on what ever I projects I have going on without carrying on any stress. Thats my quiet time.

I agree with the majority. I am more creative in the morning when I first wake up.

I am in the minority then. In the mornings I am quiet and irritable. My best times are mid-afternoon for just about everything - from 3pm to 7pm. :-)

I generally get hit with the big ideas somewhere around 2 AM - they will literally wake me up - and then I have to go write or draw, because I cannot get back to sleep until I get it out onto paper or computer.

I used to keep the laptop in my bedroom thinking it would help me get back to sleep easier if I ciuld just pick it up and work - but that made my insomnia worse.

Now that I have it out in the den and I have to go out to write, I can get the idea down in rough, and then go back to bed and fall asleep.

I'm creative whenever. Sometimes I won't feel creative, but I'll pick up my guitar and suddenly out comes a new song LOL.

Sometimes when I'm not feeling creative, I'll know I still have to get an article written, so I'll get started, and suddenly I'm creative LOL.

I guess it just depends he he he.

I would just like to note that it is 3 AM in Georgia, and I have been up for about and hour and 1/2 working on my Spirituality article. See?

I also feel productive in the morning and when I drink coffee! I also feel productive when the deadline is creeping up on me! PANIC! Those are the times wherein all my creative juices just squeeze themselves out of me.
