Going to Wildwood, NJ for a 60's weekend. All the music will be from the 60's. We still like to dance. It is great exercise. Really hoping to hear some Motown. There are so many good songs from that era. Anybody have favroites? Of course Under the Boardwalk!!! Sundancer www.mikessportingoods.ecrater.com

How much fun is THAT! I love most of the 60's music, especially Motown as I'm from Michigan and came of age listening to Motown on a Canadian radio station late into the night (when my Mom wouldn't catch me and make me turn it off). I was in high school at the time.
You are right - it is great exercise. I hope you have a great time. Please let us know how it went for you.

Where my family lives in Oregon, there is a Back to the 50's celebration every year, with a great car show and parade. It's so much fun.

The 60's weekend in Wildwood was fabulous! Danced all weekend..the groups were really good! And of course the weather cooperated! In fact, on Sunday it was too hot!! There is also a doo wop weekend in October. We've been to that a couple of times also. I think there were more people there at the doo wop weekend. Wildwood, New Jersey's theme is Doo wop. Hi Rosie, I love doo wop also. We've been to the doo wop weekend twice and this was our first 60's weekend. I do have some pictures..I'll share them. The cool part for me is my cousin, and his wife go with us. Joe & I grew up together and danced all thru high school and beyond..lol..and both his wife and my hubby are both dancers. We have a such a good time. Sundancer www.mikessportingoods.ecrater.com

60's music really seems to hang around. I think because it's still basically very good music and people still enjoy listening.
