Another great crime/procedural drama but i love the female lead.. Did anyone watch the first season? The second one starts April 19..

There was another show that came on the same time as In Plain Sight. I think it was Army Wives. But I did catch a couple of re-runs, the show is pretty good.

I remember having some issues with the first few episodes - but that's true of most TV shows. The characters are very rough in the beginning while the writers try to figure them out. We did enjoy it once it settled in!

Yeah i agree Lisa, it definitely got better as the season went on, which is why i'm so excited about the second season. I think Mary's character in particularly definitely got more complex the further into the show, i like when they show her softer side; like when shes interacting with her family or with witnesses she gets particularly involved with...
I love stan too! Does anyone else think he's really funny?

Yes I agree she became a more complex, multi-faceted character which I always like. You can understand her motivations now, she seems much more real!

Woo hoo, new season starts sunday! It will be interesting to see how the seaon finale affected Mary's character...

I loved this show. We aren't getting the second season as of yet but I'm keeping my toes crossed. I hate missing this. I want her shades.

Mary Shannon rocks! I love this show. I have become a total USA junkie. I am going to have a total breakdown when Monk ends this season.
