I've been having fun picking through the friperies where they lay out tables of second hand clothes, like the one at my Sunday market.

I also like to browse Free P Star for vintage finds.

Tombes du Camion is a collection of antique and whimsy. The store is like a living art installation of little fist-sized treasures you never knew you needed. I bought a doll's eye and some beads.

Deyrolle is a taxidermy zoo. Go to look at the animals, buy insects in glass cases, or find scientific nature prints. I wrote this article about an afternoon on Rue du Bac.

And which Paris shops do you frequent, do tell?
