MaryEllen, there is nowhere in any medical practice codes where it's ethical for a medical practitioner to give a patient alcohol before a procedure.

As far as I know, tattoo artists are not considered medical practitioners?

It's surely a gray area, though. I mean, Botox is supposed to be administered by a doctor, right? But I think most places that do it just have a doctor on staff but the aesthetician (sorry, misspelled) does the injections.

To me a glass of wine just sounds like a friendly, nice way to relax before starting the job, but I realize that it could be a serious issue.

She has repaired mistakes (by others) by inserting another color on top of the mistake, She uses white or natural skin color to in effect, erase it. _________________________________ MYCOLLECTS COM

In many places it is prohibited to tattoo someone that you know has liquor in their system...even if it is just a glass of wine.
