I know that Corned Beef and Cabbage is really not a traditional Irish supper, but my family love it and we do have it every St. Patrick's Day or the traditional Irish Stew like my parents always had. Yesterday was such a chaotic schedule that I was not able to cook the corned beef supper, so, I am doing it today. Sitting here at the computer with the aroma of the Corned Beef wafting down the hallway to tantalize me is so wonderful!!!

I hope you all had a grande St. Patrick's Day!!!

We had Corned Beef and Cabbage yesterday and it was yummy. But I don't make it the traditional European way. I do boil it with spices but then I glaze and roast it. It was tender. The honey-mustard glaze was sweet and sticky.

Your Irish stew recipe made me want to make some stew. But it's hot here now so I'll wait until next week.

Did you pinch anyone? wink

Your recipe sounds delicious, Lori. I will have to try that sometime. The Irish Stew is very good. I usually like to thicken the broth up to make a rich brown gravy (my weakness).

No - I did not pinch anyone - darn! But, then no one pinched me either.
