I often think about cutting my hair my self (I can't go to a hair dresser)
My hair is a little longer then 35inches
Is there a why if i decide to cut it, to be able to get it even?

I read the instructions for straight across. It is interesting how this produces a straight across haircut. I'm not arguing with your experience, I'm just trying to figure it out.

Personally, I would just have a friend cut it, parting it in two to four sections depending on how thick your hair is, combing each section straight down against the body and cutting a straight line.

I agree with Lynne on this one. My hair is about to the small of my back and I may trim it a couple times a yr. Yes, I have tried to do it myself with so-so sucess(usually close in straightness but not quite) and I have been a hairstylist since 1987! lol There is alot to be said for that second pair of eyes and hands helping! wink

I read that as well and do not see how it creates a straight line. In all my 6.5 years of professionally cutting hair would I never cut it like that. I say take Lynne's advice. Have someone comb your wet hair str8 down with several sections and get your str8 line cut.

One more thing. When your friend cuts it, if you put your chin down a little (and keep it there throughout the cut), you will avoid that broom look on the ends.

The question was "Is there a why if i decide to cut it, to be able to get it even?"

I posted a link to instructions that hundreds of people have tried. If you don't understand them that's fine. But I'd appreciate it if it my advice wasn't kicked to the curb simply because you don't understand it or disagree. It doesn't work for everyone but it does for many including me. So I posted it.

I've tried it. I liked it. I shared it. Bottom line.

I'm sorry that you felt 'jumped on' or kicked to the curb. That wasn't the intention. We are all just offering our suggestions on how Rosie could get her hair cut.
