Hi all:
I just this minute found this wonderful site, registered and did the intro thing. My favorite author is Lora Leigh. She is incredible! I read Sarah McCarty, Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole, Annemarie McKenna, and Julie Garwood; gosh, I could go on and on and on and on . . . . . . .
I'm looking for books like Lora Leigh's Loving Lies, Shiloh Walker's Missing, and Annmarie McKenna's The Perfect Gift, omnibus. These books bring out the jealously!!! Makes me really think about things. Books where two people fall in love and something happens to separate them (secret mission, anger, or men think they have been betrayed). In all of these books it has been the men that have left later coming back to claim their women because they realize they made a mistake (and these guys won't take no for an answer). Loving Lies and Missing they came back with a child (that would be hard to take). Of course, though, the women fight it, but they cave in the end. Always a happy ending.
I have read Lora Leigh's Men of August series and Loving Lies all twice and I have only been reading romantica for a year. I rarely read a book twice!!!!! She is awesome!!!!
I look forward to meeting new friends and discovering new authors. Anxiously awaiting responses,
Kimba
P.S. As I said before, if I am making any mistakes in posting, etc., please let me know as this is my first time. I also don't know abbreviations (LOL, etc). I just figured out TBR. Ha Ha.
