BellaOnline Forums Hobbies and Crafts Paper Crafts making your own paper

I've seen some beautiful hand made paper in magazines and some of it even used in art work. do you have a good website or book for doing this? I'd love to take this up as a hobby, to make gifts, etc.

Hi Beth!
I am a newbie and ran across your post about paper making.
Though I do not have a book or site to advise I can tell you that there are kits at art & craft stores that will supply you with all you need to get started.
Also you can make your own screen for draining (an old piece of window or door screening works well)and buy paper pulp that is JUST for making homemade papers.
It's fun and if you're a paper artist you'll love being able to customize your papers for whatever projects you have going on.
I also save, press & dry flower petals to mix in the pulp for a nice effect.
